Juwanna Sharonda Fonrose, a 25-year-old Black / African American woman from East Orange, New Jersey, was fatally shot in Newark on the afternoon of September 28, 2022. The attack occurred in broad daylight, around 2:45 p.m., on the 400 block of Central Avenue.
