Tremiyah Lindsey, a 16-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on November 12, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Tremiyah was a senior at Glen Oaks High School. On that fateful day, a confrontation occurred on Avocado Drive, where Tremiyah, her mother, and her adult brother went to confront a resident. The situation escalated, leading to gunfire that resulted in Tremiyah's death.
