Denika Jacobs, a 20-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on November 16, 2019, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was found outside her residence on Underwood Avenue, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite being transported to a local hospital, Denika succumbed to her injuries.
