Leilah Eliana Hernandez, a 15-year-old Hispanic female, tragically lost her life on August 31, 2019, in Odessa, Texas. She was a sophomore at Odessa High School and an active member of her community, known for her passion for basketball and volleyball. Leilah was also devoted to St. Mary's Catholic Church. Her untimely death occurred during a mass shooting spree that took place between Midland and Odessa, Texas.
