Jaquincy Jawan Ross, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 23, 2018, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Jaquincy was found with apparent gunshot injuries on Swan Avenue and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred just yards away from where his stepfather had been shot the previous year.
