Arnishika Baker, a 22-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on October 18, 2021, at the Olive Square Apartments in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a reported shooting at approximately 7:30 p.m. at 1737 La Annie Dr. Upon arrival, detectives concluded that Demaris Jenks, a 24-year-old resident of the same address, had shot Baker.
