In the early morning hours of a spring day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 30-year-old Jessica Dunbar was tragically cut short. On Sunday, May 28, 2017, at approximately 3:20 a.m., Dunbar was fatally shot while she sat in her vehicle. She had just left a party with a relative and was in the 2000 block of Silverest Avenue when the incident occurred. Emergency services transported her to a local hospital, but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
