On October 11, 2020, 25-year-old Christian A. Cobb, a Black female from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was involved in a tragic incident in the 10000 block of Airline Highway. According to reports, as individuals exchanged gunfire in a parking lot, Cobb attempted to leave the area and was struck in the head by a bullet. She was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Cobb succumbed to her injuries on October 15, 2020.
