Markeshia Stone, a 33-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 12, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Markeshia, affectionately known as "Grip," was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and dog mom. She attended Christian Life Academy and BRCC College, where she earned her associate degree in Science before transferring to FRAN U to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Markeshia's untimely death has left her family and friends heartbroken.
