In the first minutes after midnight on September 16, 2025, Jasmine Johnson, age 27 and female, stood with two other people on the front porch of a home on the 3100 block of West Montgomery Avenue in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. Gunfire broke out on the street; struck in the back, Jasmine Johnson ran inside and collapsed in the living room, where medics pronounced her dead at 12:35 a.m., according to police.
