On November 3, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Philadelphia police responded to a shooting incident at a residence on the 3800 block of I Street in the Juniata Park neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 7-year-old Mia Andujar with a gunshot wound to her face. She was immediately transported to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 2:39 p.m.
