Jamal Dean, a 24-year-old man from Upper Darby, Delaware County, was tragically shot to death on February 21, 2022, in the hallway of the Henry on the Park apartment complex in Philadelphia's Roxborough neighborhood. Dean had been visiting family members and an ex-girlfriend when a dispute escalated into a deadly altercation. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, back, thigh, and buttocks, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
