Dakayla Bailey, a 31-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on February 11, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 10:30 am at 6061 Plank Road. Baton Rouge Police Homicide Detectives were called to the scene to investigate the shooting. The motive and suspect were initially unknown, and the investigation was ongoing.
