Asha Davis, a 29-year-old African American woman from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on January 1, 2017. She was an employee in the dietary department at Ochsner Medical Center and an alumna of Broadmoor High School. Asha was remembered for her generosity and kind personality. She was a mother to a 10-year-old son, and her untimely death marked Baton Rouge's first homicide of 2017.
