On May 16, 2020, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, 39-year-old Christopher Garcia was fatally shot in his residence. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at the home he shared with his fiancée, 33-year-old Danelle Moyte, a local elementary school teacher. Upon arrival, deputies found Garcia with a single gunshot wound to the chest; he was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
