On December 5, 2018, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, 41-year-old John-Paul Birgenheier was fatally shot by his 78-year-old neighbor, Charles Richmond. The incident followed a confrontation between the two men earlier that day in Richmond's residence, where they argued over money and a missing bong.
