Monique Blunt, a 50-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on November 27, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Monique was shot and killed while she was in her car in the 6200 block of Vermillion Boulevard in the St. Anthony neighborhood. At the time of the incident, an 8-year-old child was also in the car but was unharmed. Monique managed to drive to a nearby gas station where she succumbed to her injuries.
