Jasmine Anderson, a 16-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on August 10, 2014, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jasmine was among the innocent bystanders caught in a drive-by shooting on Burgundy Street in the Lower 9th Ward. The intended target of the shooting was 33-year-old Terrence McBride, who was riddled with 10 bullets and died at the scene.
