Gene Scott, a 35-year-old male from Baton Rouge, LA, was tragically shot and killed on December 4, 2022, at around 11:00 a.m. at his residence on St. Katherine Avenue. The East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office confirmed his death, but the motive and suspect remain unknown at this time.
