Battlerack ‘Keeva’ Scatter Jr, a 34-year-old Black transgender woman, was found dead from a gunshot wound in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on October 15, 2021. The Baton Rouge Police Department discovered her body at 4100 W. Brookstown Dr. shortly before 11 p.m. Scatter was from 5515 Prescott Rd. The BRPD is investigating her death as an apparent shooting.
