In the early morning hours of April 27, 2024, the life of 23-year-old Daon M. Scott was cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Authorities discovered Scott's body around 3:15 a.m. near BREC's Longfellow Park on Longfellow Drive. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The initial investigation by the Baton Rouge Police Department did not immediately identify a motive or any suspects.
