On the evening of Friday, November 7, 2025, Dennis T. Durley, a 36-year-old man, was fatally shot in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. The incident occurred at approximately 10:01 p.m. in the 900 block of West 63rd Parkway.
According to a witness at the scene, an unidentified man exited a white sedan and opened fire, striking Durley in the head and neck. The assailant then got back into the vehicle and quickly fled the area.
Chicago police officers responded to calls of shots fired and discovered Durley unresponsive at the location. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
