On March 19, 2024, Dwain Trenell Fleming, a 61-year-old resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was fatally shot on South 18th Street. The incident occurred around 3:11 PM at 138 South 18th Street, and Fleming died from his injuries at the scene.
