In the afternoon hours of a Tuesday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a burst of violence cut short the life of a beloved father and grandfather. On March 19, 2024, 61-year-old Dwain Fleming was shot and killed in the 100 block of South 18th Street. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m., and when Baton Rouge Police responded to the call, they discovered Fleming at the scene. He had already succumbed to his injuries.
