In the late hours of a Saturday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragedy struck, leaving a family and community to mourn the loss of Lester Jerome Kinchen. On February 1, 2020, the 50-year-old man's life was cut short by gunfire. The incident occurred around midnight in the 3900 block of Odell Street, a residential area that became the scene of a homicide investigation.
