Joshua Shorter, an 18-year-old African American male from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on November 29, 2021. He was found in the driver's seat of a vehicle on Gus Young Avenue, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, Joshua succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
