Jerome Jeroy Kinchen, a 34-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2020, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 8:00 PM in the 4800 block of Gus Young Avenue. Kinchen was pronounced dead at the scene due to apparent gunshot injuries. The shooting also resulted in life-threatening injuries to a 22-year-old male, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
