In the late hours of a Sunday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 25-year-old Keith Price was tragically cut short. On April 21, 2024, at approximately 11 p.m., Price was outside a Circle K gas station located on Floynell Drive in the Inniswold neighborhood. It was there that he was suddenly approached by two unknown men. In a violent encounter, the men opened fire, striking Price.
The assailants fled the scene immediately after the shooting, disappearing into the night.
Emergency services were called, and Price was quickly transported to a nearby hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead. The sound of at least eight gunshots had been reported by residents in the vicinity, a stark indicator of the violence that had unfolded.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office launched a homicide investigation into the death of Keith Price.
