In the early morning hours of a Wednesday in December 2022, the body of 42-year-old Charlene Jarreau, a female resident of New Orleans, was discovered lying on the side of a road in Metairie, Louisiana. An initial investigation by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office revealed that she had been shot at least once in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
