In a quiet Metairie neighborhood on September 7, 2020, a grim discovery was made inside a home on Jade Avenue, revealing a scene that would be investigated as a tragic murder-suicide. Responding to a call to check on the residents, Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputies entered the house to find three individuals deceased. Among them was 55-year-old Nadine Bordelon Schroeder.
