In the pre-dawn hours of January 27, 2022, 48-year-old Charlene 'CeeCee' Jones was preparing to leave for her job at Walmart. As she sat in her car in the parking lot of the Gatehouse Apartments in Metairie, Louisiana, her life was tragically cut short in a hail of gunfire. The grandmother was shot multiple times and was found deceased at the scene by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
