48-year-old Charlene Jones, a resident of Metairie, Louisiana, was tragically shot and killed on January 27, 2022, in the parking lot of her apartment complex, Gatehouse Apartments. Jones, a grandmother and tenant at the apartments, was on her way to work when she was fatally shot multiple times. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Jones deceased.
