Tacara Williams, a 25-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on December 30, 2013, in Metairie, Louisiana. The incident occurred on the I-10 Service Road, where she was fatally shot alongside 29-year-old Demektric Whitfield-Anderson. The double homicide shocked the community and prompted an extensive investigation by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office .
