Daneka Lott, a 24-year-old African American woman from Metairie, LA, tragically lost her life on January 22, 2017. She was born on May 17, 1992, and was a loving mother to four children: London, Brandon Jr., Brooklyn, and Mariah. Daneka's death occurred in a violent incident that also claimed the lives of two other individuals, Malcolm Wallace, 25, and his 16-year-old sister, Monica Bates. The three victims were shot while driving in a car on South Laurel Street in Metairie.
