Veronica Marie Billiot, a 59-year-old woman from Metairie, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on February 20, 2021. She was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire during a shootout at Jefferson Gun Outlet in Metairie. Veronica was at the store to pick up a gun she had ordered when she was struck by gunfire. Her death was a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
