Elijah Crowder, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 28, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side of the city. Crowder was inside a vehicle at approximately 1:18 p.m. in the 2400 block of West Harrison Street when a maroon Nissan Murano approached.
