On February 21, 2023, a homicide occurred in the Chicago Lawn area of Chicago, Illinois, resulting in the death of 57-year-old Bartholomew Beal. The incident took place around 10 p.m. in a building located in the 6100 block of South Western Avenue, identified as the "Hallberg Insurance Network," which appeared to be abandoned at the time of the shooting.
