Raekwon Stafford, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on October 13, 2020, in Humboldt Park, Chicago, IL. The incident occurred when James Murphy, a 21-year-old male, allegedly opened fire from a vehicle as Stafford and his 13-year-old sister stood on a porch in the 900 block of North Lawndale Avenue. The bullet that struck Stafford passed through his body and critically wounded his sister, who was taken to Stroger Hospital with the bullet lodged in her chest.
