On November 25, 2017, 27-year-old Samaka Rachel Powell, a clerk at a Valero gas station in Killeen, Texas, was tragically killed in a murder-suicide. Powell's husband, 31-year-old Raymond Deshawn Davis, shot her during an argument at the gas station before turning the gun on himself. Both died at the scene.

The incident came as a complete shock to Powell's family and friends, who described her as a kind and loving mother who enjoyed drawing. Powell's sister, Tatyana Nieves, revealed that ...
