Rashad Wells, a 43-year-old African American man, was found shot dead on February 13, 2021, in the Gresham neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Officers responded to a call of shots fired around 8:10 p.m. in the 7600 block of South Loomis Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered Wells on the ground with a gunshot wound to his face.
