Detario L. Johnson, a 21-year-old African American male from Danville, Illinois, tragically lost his life on August 26, 2021. The incident occurred on a Thursday night when Johnson was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. Danville Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim behind a residence on the unit block of Bremer Avenue at approximately 9:12 PM.
