Ollie Williams, a 27-year-old African American male from Danville, Illinois, was tragically killed on July 7, 2017. Williams was riding his bicycle in the 1400 block of Eastview Road when a car pulled up beside him, and he was shot multiple times by someone inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead later that evening at the hospital.

The investigation into Williams' death led to the arrest of Latron Y. Cross, a 25-year-old male from Danville. Cross was charged with first-degree murder in ...
