Shawn David Mullins, a 43-year-old man from Danville, Illinois, was found dead on August 21, 2018. His body was discovered in a vehicle at the intersection of Fairchild and Fowler Streets in Danville. The Vermilion County Coroner, Jane McFadden, confirmed that Mullins had died from an apparent gunshot wound. An autopsy was performed on August 22, 2018, and the results were pending at the time of the initial reports.
