William L. Banks, a 32-year-old African American male, was found dead on January 12, 2019, in Danville, Illinois. The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 5 a.m., when Banks' body was discovered inside a residence on the 1600 block of Edgewood Drive. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, which ultimately led to his death.
