Dajunrae Tarell Gouard, a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 25, 2016, in Danville, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3 a.m., when residents of the 1200 block of Giddings Street reported hearing gunshots and witnessing a woman being chased by a man. The woman, identified as 26-year-old Miranda Oatis, was found dead in a yard, while Dajunrae Gouard's body was discovered inside a nearby home.
