On the morning of August 7, 2017, in Danville, Illinois, authorities responded to reports of gunfire in the 900 block of Fowler Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 24-year-old Brandon Dallas-Hagan, a male from Indianapolis, Indiana, lying in an open field. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the face.
