Corey L. Jackson II, a 26-year-old African American male, was found dead in a residence on the east side of Danville, Illinois, on July 21, 2018. The discovery was made after some individuals visited the home and noticed Jackson lying on the floor, unresponsive. The police were called to the scene around 11:30 AM, and the death was immediately treated as a homicide.
