Filbert Elonge, a 28-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on January 27, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. Filbert was traveling in a vehicle with another male when they were ambushed by gunfire from a white truck. The incident occurred in the Ravenswood neighborhood, specifically on the 1500 block of West Wilson Avenue.
