Harvey Adams, a 34 year old Black, was shot in broad daylight on August 30, 2019, in Chicago's Marquette Park neighborhood.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., he was standing near a vehicle in the 7300 block of South Maplewood Avenue when two people emerged from a gangway. One opened fire, and both fled back through the same gangway, leaving the street jarred by the sudden burst of gunfire.
