Rayshawn Finley, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 9, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the South Side. According to reports, Finley approached Alton D. Ellis, a 31-year-old man, and opened fire. Ellis, who was with his 18-month-old son at the time, returned fire.
