Death by Force

Miguel Huerta, a 34-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot on August 6, 2023, during a verbal altercation in the Belmont Central area on the Northwest Side of Chicago. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of North Meade Avenue around 11:40 p.m. when Huerta got into an argument with an unknown offender. The suspect fired multiple shots, striking Huerta in the head and left buttocks.
