Seventeen-year-old Devion Ward, an African American male, was tragically killed on April 9, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Wentworth Gardens development, where Devion and two other individuals were sitting in a parked vehicle around 9:45 p.m. A black Dodge Durango approached their vehicle, and two unidentified males exited the SUV and began shooting at the victims' vehicle.
